Solar Energy Maps crowdsourcing solar energy locations around the World. Our goal is to raise the awareness of renewable energy locations by publishing their locations on a World map. Renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, bio) locations are colored in yellow. Our data is crowdsourced and added from public data sources. We want to know where solar energy is being produced at solar farms, on top of roofs, buildings and solar parking lot structures. Please add new solar, wind and hydro locations directly to the map by clicking on the + sign. It is our goal to raise the awareness about the impact solar and renewable energy can have on reducing our dependence on oil and gas. The goal of this map is to provide a visual contrast of the fossil fuel and renewable energy production going on around us. Click on the regional maps below to discuss local issues.
